Reporters talk like some words matter more than others.
Thank God America collectively decided that we enjoy being talked to in a condescending, unhappy-elementary-school-teacher's tone.
Thank you! I was wondering why people on American TV speak like that. It makes sense to me now.
I find the reporter accent absolutely obnoxious.
The best/worst insult for anyone in the news would be "You've got a face for radio and a voice for silent films."
They should teach ppl to speak in an Irish accent… Americans love the Irish
You are 100year old man
can we talk about that old man at 2:39 who has been staring at the camera.
0:21 its michelle obama yall
At least it's not the Top15s upspeak voice.
I imagine you become a reporter to have an excuse to talk like that.
Your background music is TOO LOUD!
Spock-Lite. Or maybe Kirkesque?
Istanbul on 2:13
BUT HEY IT'S JUST A THEORY, A FILM THEORY
Americans anchors only😅🤣
I. AMnot _READING_, THIS?
Is there a special reason for the pattern of getting higher and higher, then ending by suddenly going deep?
This is the same for reporters in other non English speaking countries
same as why do preachers talk like that ?
"all over the world" then shows a bunch of English speaking reporters. i bet you are american.
Why does news use similar accentuation outside of the US though?
2:27 This reminds me of every Chills video ever
It gets on my nerves! But thanks for the explanation!
this just in; talking like this makes people feel important.
also for no reason; trisha taka… taka… takanawa?
I really thought I was going crazy. I thought only I noticed this.
There’s this Crime watch daily reporter who’s the absolute WORST when it comes to this fake voice. She lowers hers and sounds completely fake and stupid. Everyone including myself hates it
Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 …
yay, missouri represent! i always heard news television reporters were often sourced from this general area due to our lack of regional inflection. good to know that wasn't just some BS, although i understand it's a skill that can be & is taught somewhat readily as well.
yr videos i've seen thus far have covered unique topics & in a fun way. i'm enjoying it quite a bit. 🙂
Nice News channel name
They like talking generic because they want to appeal to everyone
Man, you have no idea HOW LOOOONG I have been asking myself that question!!! Like, I wondered about it once again YESTERDAY. Now this makes sense. Thank you!!
The british version of this is that all reporters speak in RP (Received Pronunciation) and have the same sort of pacing as mentioned in this video.
You did this entire video, and yet never interviewed Perd Hapley..
Well tbh they sound different to me
WHY ARE ALL OF MY VIDEO IDEAS ALREADY DONE!
what's weird is I talk like that on a daily basis and I wasn't taught to talk like that at all maybe my parents had me watch the news with them when I was a baby and I talk like a newscaster all the time
Gloria Borger doesn’t talk like this
Oh yea… KY3123LMNOP News
This channel is actually brilliant. Austin makes videos about stuff that no one really questions yet interacts with at least once in their lives.
K3LMNOP is the only reputable news source on the internet
Ky3123lmnop news. My favorite channel.
