Which Romance Books Need More Attention?

(upbeat music) – I think that everyone who reads romance should read Shamrock by Janie Crouch. It is romantic suspense. She is a Harlequin author, but Shamrock is one of
her self-published titles, and it’s part of her
Linear Tactical series, and in my opinion, it is
the best one in the series. – One is Layover by Katrina Jackson, which is about a travel blogger who has run into some writer’s block, who meets up with a podcaster. It’s a fun, romantic book, but it’s also an examination of grief. Also, Mr. Hotshot CEO by Jackie Lau. All of her books are really great. This is a book about a
CEO who tries to find a manic pixie dream girl to
teach him how to have fun, and he finds a woman who
has like severe depression, and who is about to go
into a depression spiral, which is actually a really moving, funny, and romantic story. – Their Perfect series
by Priscilla Oliveras. It’s a fantastic series, and it’s all about family, and in the Puerto Rican community, so you can go ahead and check that out. – I just recently read it. I loved it. It’s called Ayesha at
Last by Uzma Jalaluddin, and it is beautiful. It is a Pride and Prejudice
retelling set in Toronto. The characters are all Muslim, and it’s charming and fantastic, and the Darcy is amazing. (upbeat music)
