US election 2020: highlights from second night of Democratic debates

you know what America does not want to witness a food fight they want to know how we're gonna put food on their table [Applause] do you agree today do you agree today that you were wrong to oppose busing in America though do you agree I did not oppose busing in America what I opposed is busing ordered by the Department of Education that's what I opposed there's not a failure of states to engineering public schools in America I was part of the second class to integrate Berkeley California public schools almost two decades after brown v board of education because your City Council made that decision I was six years old when a presidential candidate came to the California Democratic convention and said it's time to pass the torch to a new generation of Americans that candidate was then-senator Joe Biden Joe Biden was right when he said it was time to pass the torch to a new generation of Americans 32 years ago he's still right today [Applause] satori give you ten seconds just ask that answer the very direct question will you raise taxes for the middle class in a Sanders administration people who have health care on the Medicare for all will have no premiums no deductibles no co-payment snow out of expect out of pocket expenses yes they will pay more in taxes but less in health care for what they get and I am determined to bring about a day when a white person driving a vehicle and a black person driving a vehicle when they see a police officer approaching feels the exact same thing a feeling not of fear but of safety I am determined to bring that day about everything if you are president what specifically would you do with the thousands of people who try to reach the United States every day and want a better life suicide I will ensure that the this microphone that the President of the United States holds in her hand is used in a way and not about locking children up separating them from their parents if you'd ever told me any time in my life that this country would sanction federal agents to take children from the arms of their parents put them in cages actually put them up for adoption in Colorado we call that kidnapping I would have told you I would told you is unbelievable governor you're right it is kidnapping and it's extremely important for us to realize that if you forcibly take a child from their parents arms you are kidnapping them and if you take a lot of children and you put them in entertainment center thus inflicting chronic trauma upon them that's called child abuse this is collective child of you both of those things are fine and if your government does it that doesn't make it less of a crime these are state-sponsored crimes

  1. Open borders and free health care for illegal immigrants is the perfect way to destroy a superpower like the United States of America. These peoples pandering is getting us nowhere.

  2. Why do they have 10 of the candidates up at any one time? They should have 3 or 4 max, and have the 1st round of debates over an entire week. That way, candidates actually have an opportunity to properly debate points raised, and not just get special points for 30 second soundbites.

  3. The only candidate the Dems have that would stand a chance against Trump is Tulsi Gabbard. At least shes got sense. The rest are clowns.

  4. Democrats like child sex trafficking, cartel members mulling drugs. Women getting raped. They want to reward it..

  5. Kamala Biden is much better than Tulsy Sanders. But then – Elisabeth Swalwell, is so much better than Julian Gabbard. Way way better. If of course we discount some ill will between Kristen De Blasio and Beto Hickenlooper.
The United States future is fully secured in these capable hands of semi-educated attorneys with ZERO real life experience and strong desire to bring to the American people all the experiences of prosperity and well being of USSR, Venezuela, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Albania and North Korea!

    Future is bright!

  6. The President can't control how black people feel when they see a police officer. That's up to black people. If a black person is not committing a crime they shouldn't feel afraid in that situation. If they do then it's because of how they were raised to see the police, not because of the evil white man.

  7. These clowns are focused on the people trying to come into the country but what about the millions that have been here for years? They don't talk about it because they won't get a vote over things that are silent and not on TV, they manipulate your vote over things on TV not the real issues inside the country

  8. stupid debate that went absolutely nowhere cuz u got candidates blaming each other cuz they sentimental mofos, let my guy Andrew Yang talk he the only one who makes sense of anything.

  9. You forgot the part where they all raised their hands to funding free healthcare for illegiel immigrants, which would make just about every person in the world rain down on the USA
