– Hi Amber, how are you? I happen to be in San Diego right now, and I just thought I’d say hello as well. Happy anniversary! (upbeat music) – Hey, hey, everybody,
it’s Facebook Live time! It’s been a while, couple weeks, and figured we’ve got some
really exciting things to share. You’ll see these balloons behind my head, and if I can pull them down,
see what numbers they are. It’s my anniversary,
my 10-year anniversary with Sotheby’s International Realty. Couldn’t be more excited. My team surprised me
when I walked in today. You can’t see it, you’ll be
able to see it in the vlog, but there’s balloons everywhere, and it’s just a, it’s a, kind of I guess it’s crazy to
think that it’s been a decade. I started my real estate
career with Coast Sotheby’s, at a branch in Santa Fe, for all of you that didn’t know that. I spent about three years there, and then we became Pacific Sotheby’s, and I moved my office down to La Jolla, so we’ve been in La Jolla the remainder of our career with Pacific Sotheby’s. But we just couldn’t be more excited, and we will continue to move on. I’m hoping everyone is

do a gazillion things in front of the computer but it’s all about, making those connections,
networking with other agents, and most importantly
getting the deals done. (upbeat music) – Okay. I get so many spam
calls in a day that I heard about this app that plays
these pre recorded messages. – Oh this is Houston we have a problem. [Over phone] -Please stay
on the line and you’ll be transferred to the next available agent. – Uh, Nicholas Ummm – What’s going on up there? – Uh, the main core snapped
and I’m floating away. Uh, it’s an emergency. Can anybody hear me please? [Beeping] Hello? Critical. Hello? Hello? – Any how, the fact that
I get like twenty a day is a little bit of like payback. – How does it know how to… (upbeat music) – I think truly I’m probably
five days in the office. And two days in the field
is what I’d like to do. But of course it doesn’t
always end up that way. Because the fact is, weekends
are open houses and showings. And you know, one day this week
I was at the office at 9 a.m and I think I went home at 8:30 p.m. But I’m not in the office all
day, I don’t sit at my desk. Half the time people see me
running in and out because you shouldn’t be sitting
at your desk all day. Believe me, you could find
a million things to do that will take up your
time from social media to your database. Which there’s all important
things you have to do, but I think it’s more important
and my highest and best use is getting out and meeting with clients, meeting with new business
partners, working with the agents. Because let’s face it
85% of the deals done in San Diego County are
done with another agent. So the agents actually
become just as valuable to us in terms of prospecting as
the clients and buyers do because a lot of times when
I get a price reduction or something, you know, that
is important I don’t just put it on social media and send an email. I’m calling and text
messaging all the top agents because I know they are just as important as my top buyers or my
top listing prospect. ♪ This ain’t no competition ♪ ♪ In fact I’ve got plenty of room ♪ ♪ We’ve got that real connection ♪ ♪ But love your friend and I do too ♪ ♪ Got my dancing shoes ♪ [♪ ♪ ♪] So it’s super important
to get out on caravan not just to see the
properties ’cause it gives us the chance to see what’s coming up, perhaps stuff that’s
not yet on the market. But most importantly it
gives us an opportunity to mix and mingle with the
other agents and community because there’s a high, high likelihood that we’re gonna be doing a
deal together in the future. I have a lot of listings in this town, represent a lot of buyers
and I can’t tell you the report you have with the
other agent can sometimes help for sure make you in that deal. So, part of what we do
every week when we get out of the office. (upbeat music) So we’re heading to a
lunch meeting right now with two of my favorites, Ardo and Dax. They’re both top, top financial planners in the top 1% in San Diego County. I met them through one of
my clients here in La Jolla. Because of course when
you work with the best they always want to connect
people in their lives that they feel are the best. And so we have an amazing
opportunity sometimes when our clients make that introduction. (upbeat music) – Perfect. So we’re updating our La Jolla
video and it could not be a La Jolla video if we didn’t showcase La Jolla’s most luxurious condo
building which is The Muse. We have to show you what penthouse
#1 is going to look like. ♪ All my pride on the table ♪ ♪ I was willing and able ♪ ♪ Willing and able ♪ [♪ ♪ ♪] – So this is what luxury’s all about. And we’re here today,
we’re gonna be filming a couple of videos. Updating our La Jolla video,
got a couple of team videos to shoot but most importantly
we have to showcase this amazing unit. (upbeat music) [Inaudible] – I think so I think so. Well what a nice surprise,

is your net worth. And you never know, I could
meet one person tonight that could lead to ten
other introductions, you just never know. And so it’s about getting
those quality relationships, getting face to face
and just being a hustler and getting out of the office. Because all the magic happens
