Moronic Hypocrite Democrat Rep Says Trump Violated Iraq’s Sovereignty And Makes A Fool Of Herself

Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin is a former
CIA analyst who was stationed in Iraq for three tours of duty. She joined the agency after the 9/11 attacks
rather than enlist in the military because the Columbia University grad believed she
had more to offer her country with her mind. Fair enough. And the fact that she served in Iraq multiple
times certainly gives her credibility. But she told CNN something on Tuesday that,
frankly, makes no sense, especially coming from someone with bona fide, on-the-ground
intelligence experience in Iraq. Slotkin is the sponsor of a House resolution
that may as well be called the “Iran Protection Act” because, as NewsTarget reports, it
seeks to empower the Iranian regime by hampering President Donald Trump’s commander-in-chief
authority to protect our country: On Monday following President Trump’s order
to target Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former head of the Quds Force, responsible for thousands
of deaths and maiming of Americans, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to her
unhinged caucus explaining that she would be introducing a resolution to tie the president’s
hands when it comes to dealing with Iran. As we reported, she also accused the Trump
administration of taking “provocative and disproportionate” action against the Iranian
general, Soleimani, who actually took “provocative and disproportionate” action in Iraq when
he was supplying insurgents with Iranian-made weapons to kill American troops. This is the resolution that Slotkin has signed
onto. In her CNN interview, Slotkin said that Soleimani’s
objective in Iraq was to harass and intimidate the United States to the point of driving
us out of the country altogether — so Iran can have a free hand at influencing the government
in Baghdad. “I think it would be ironic, because Qasem
Soleimani is the architect of the idea that, if you just punish the United States and threaten
the United States in Iraq, they will feel like, you know what? The juice isn’t worth the squeeze, and we
will run out of Iraq with our tail between our legs,” Slotokin told CNN’s Christiane
Amanpour. The she said: “That’s what he wanted in
life. And I hope that he does not get it in death,
because, right now, the Iraqi government is in a very, very tough spot. Their sovereignty was violated. And they have the right to decide what happens
in their country.” Huh? The U.S. military has had a presence in Iraq
for years. In fact, after Obama withdrew American forces
(allowing the formation of ISIS), the Iraqi government invited U.S. forces back to help
in the fight against ISIS. So how, exactly, did Trump ‘violate Iraqi
sovereignty’ by striking Soleimani, a thug terrorist who has been working on behalf of
the Iranian government to undermine Iraqi sovereignty? How come the Iranian terrorist gets a pass
from Slotkin, the former CIA operative who knows what Iran is attempting to do in Iraq,
but the president of the United States — acting in defense of the country — doesn’t?
