today we will discuss about running of reaction turbine how earning of reaction turbine we work for maintaining flow rate we know that regulation of quantity of water projected from wide veins in the case of reaction turbine we used guide vanes for controlling the speed of turbine as loan changing in the case of investor buying these guide vanes are the cleansed with nozzle so we are using their guide vanes we have to regulate waters acting from guide vanes this is the governing of reaction turbine firstly we will discuss about parts of the governing of reaction turbine we have a reaction turbine in which we have a rotor and guide vanes through which water will enter to the rotor and this is a casing from which water will enter in the casing the oil sump a relay or control wall with piston and piston rods another cylinder with piston and linking mechanism this is piston and this is linking mechanism which is connected to the guide vanes system for open and closed the guide wheels for regulating the flow of water this oil sump is connected to the relay and control valve through pipes there are three pipes upper pipe middle pipe and lower pipe and from the other side it is connected to the D cylinder a guarna for governing the supply governor is connected to the relay and control valve with the help of a lever and there is a fulcrum now we see the working of governing of impulse turbine what will happen when water and through the guide vanes and it will go to the rotor rotor will start rotating and if load is less and speed will high of the rotor this rotor or turbine is connected to the governor through a Lincoln mechanism and so this governor will rotate at higher speed by the rotation of the higher speed of the governor sleeve will go in the upward direction this sleeve will pull this lever and push this piston in the downward direction and there is a oil pump which will start working and give oil to the cylinder when this piston move in the downward direction with the help of this lever then it will push the oil in the cylinder in t cylinder this piston will move in the rightward or forward direction when it will move in the forward direction this linking mechanism will work and it will close all the guide vanes according to the condition it will close all the guide vanes and the flow water will be maintained then this pressurized oil will back to the Sun so this is the working in the forward direction this is the anti-clockwise direction when all the wide winds will close and if this link will work in the reverse manner or clockwise direction then it will open all the guide vanes for regulating the flow of water so this is the governing of impulse turbine for regulating the flow of water thank you for seeing this video for more updated videos you can subscribe me on my channel lamp and grow thank you
