  2. Government control of the money supply was already authorized in Article 1 of the US Constitution. I hate to nitpick, but the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 did not give government the control of the money supply. It gave government money over to the control of a cabal of private bankers. Court documents in New York show that shares of stock were purchased in 1914.
