Film, Journalism & Media Arts | Personality Matrix

in our leadership session we discussed personality matrixes so we took a personality assessment uncovering whether we were a lion a koala a peacock or an owl we did this test things like are you analytical are you cooperative are you caring so one was I am not strong at this and four was I am strictness add those all up and the chart says based on what you get I learned that I'm a koala I was an owl one of the concepts that we discussed was personality flexing and how we could change according to the personalities of the people around us where you put yourself in their shoes or try and see it from their perspective it was really cool learning about how to communicate with other personalities because that can be hard at times we had to make a party invitation from our personalities point of view at the end we got up and presented them and kind of seen the difference and seeing how we automatically went to these personalities and were able to see the connections like this is something that only a peacock would do and this is something that only an owl would do I think they help you in everyday life even now I would say that I would walk away from this taking it to back to my high school I think it will help me communicate more with others trying to see things from their point of view and not just getting stuck in your own point of view where I'm right it should be my way not necessarily we can see it another way as well when you're in the workplace you have to learn how to work with people that have different personality types than you and to learn about different people's way of learning helps you help them better you
