If we go back in time hypothetically, 26,000 yrs ago asteroid hit the planet. Where it hit Mexico, just one? At the time I assume the continent was one land mass. So at the distance the continents are going apart each yr, we could get a better start date. Ice age circled the plant. So that’s the date that we start at for Planet X to appear in the sky’s. Then if we split it in half 12,000 yrs ago, ect… just trying to rap my head around it,

m87 not Sag A* and it is a pictorial of radio spectrum and not visible spectrum…..
I was looking at the image you present at 8:06 as ‘most likely’ and see that it matches almost exactly the image that was released of M87, except that it is black and white. And that same ‘most likely’ image was featured in Dr. Bouman’s lecture from Nov. 2016. I’m interested in how images like those, theoretical models that predate the collection of the data (which occurred in April 2017), might have been used in Bayesian approaches to the creation of the final image. Would you be able to do a feature on this aspect? Thank you.

I hope you add another errata (and a HUGE bummer for me). The object shown all over the world, was not our own Milky Way Sag A black hole, but M87. So at least your explanation about the dust on our galaxy is not correct. Yeah I know that having an image of a black hole is a big thing, but 1/2 of the ppl I know was thinking it was our own Galaxy's…I wonder why…was there a collective misinformation from sites or scientists going on?

Christian, the models predicted that the accretion disk gas that is rotating towards the observer would be brighter than the gas rotating away from the observer. In other words, the model "pictures" show the has on the left side of the black hole which is coming toward the observer as brighter, while the gas on the right side, which is going away from the observer, is darker.
Yet the "pictures" from both M87 and Sagittarius A* make it appear that the gas that is "brighter" is in the part of the accretion disk that is between the black hole and the observer — ie, the gas that is flowing across our frame of reference and is neither coming toward the observer nor going away from the observer.
Why is that?

Have we just received the black hole image which is 26 thousand years old, we have just captured the past 🙂 how does this same black hole looks like at this moment, will this moment image will be captured in future after 26000 years? As we know that when we see an object, that means the light has just reflected from that object and reached our eyes and made an image of that object. Near objects, we see in a blink of an eye at the same time. 1 Light year away far object light reaches our eye in 1 light year, so it means we are looking at 1 light-year-old image. And we dont know how it looks like at the present, and we are looking at its past. Present will be seen in future. And what if the light years away object we are looking at this moment does not exist at this moment as we talk. And it has been expired and died, but we still can see the object. Because we are looking at the object's past image whose light just reached us after a light year. Does it mean that distances can affect an existence?(if we are calculating all this according to the human present knowledge) Maybe we are still missing the right subject of calculating such phenomena. "what is the state of the distant object at the present time".
Or can we see the object's future?
Let's say, D is distance, P is past, F is future, N is present.So if more distance "+D" shows us the past "P".Then, simply opposite and Negative distance "- D "should show us the future "F".+D = P D = N– D = FIn other words, exploding and objects going far is past and imploding if objects go inwards (like black hole sucking everything) can show us or take us to the future.hence possibly passing through or moving towards such imploding objects like black hole will and can take us to the future.

Looks like the same as the CERN has used to make their emblem from 🤔🤔🙄🙄😳😳⚠️⚠️⚠️. They said that the light comes from a different source and that the black hole is just that ( a black hole) but it could have been opened up by CERN 😳😱⚠️⚠️⚠️
What's the betting that the "black hole" looks very similar to a Birkland Current? Only idiots and University professors, these days, believe in black holes.
