  1. My favourite song of all time, takes me back to the best years of my life. Man, I wish I could go back!

  2. If want to write or create something, make it last a long long time. Most dance and non-poetic lyric music does not last long.

  3. My dad wants me to perform this song for him when he passes, me and him were in a band from when I was 7-14 playing at bars every Saturday, he was a guitarist/vocalist and I was a drummer/guitarist. This song fits of so well and Dan Fogelberg, he is just an amazing person for writing this song and showing how him and his dad had a great relationship…

  4. I always think of my father. He passed away 2 years ago. I am a living legacy of the leader of our band. I love you Poppie. 💝

  5. This kind of music is what lost in modern civilization, song that touches hearts while raising goosebumps. 🎶

  6. I have a hard time keeping a dry eye every time I hear this song. I always wondered how Dan Fogelberg got through this song without blubbering. I can see now that he had to fight the emotion as well to make it.through the end of the song. I sure miss Dan Fogelberg, he was definitely a poet when it came to writing songs. Here is another artist taken.before his time was done. R.I.P. Dan Fogelberg, you brought us much joy through your music.

  7. R.I.P. Dan Fogelberg – you were great. I can see the scenes from your songs – I spent many days in Peoria.

  8. I have a special place in my heart for this boy and his music. His songs were a poignant highlight in my life's soundtrack.
