  1. I first met Brenda when she was sleeping on cardboard homeless on the streets of New York City. You can watch that video here: https://youtu.be/zs1MlOjUWWs. Help Brenda furnish her new apartment here https://www.gofundme.com/f/8-years-homeless-due-topersonal-injury-to-apt-in

Your voice can help end homelessness. If we do not fix the affordable housing crisis, homelessness will continue to get worse. Click here https://invisiblepeople.tv/getinvolved to tweet, email, call, or Facebook your federal and state legislators to tell them ending homelessness and creating more affordable housing is a priority to you.

  2. What does this guy do exactly? Travel and do homeless interviews? What’s this speaking gig at a college about? I mean, shit. You just go around giving people socks and interviews? He’s a homeless people’s advocate? Does he raise money or do anything to help this situation or what?

  3. the problem is with new york city the reason why homelessness is at all time high than every other city except california because rent is too damn high in reality

  4. Thank God that she’s not homeless anymore unfortunately is sad because that’s somebody’s mother and no one is helping her I’m just glad that she has a home now where she can leave her head every day🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️

  5. Brenda, I love your hot pink flamingo lipstick! Homeless, but not hopeless! I love your fighting spirit, Brenda! Keep up the good work! I am glad you found your own place!

  6. I love this channel because I was homeless in New York I am from Brooklyn and the worst is when you’re homeless with children you know and it’s a little bit easier when you have children but people do discriminate especially in New York and sometimes you do have to wait years and years for Housing but once when you do get it do not take it for granted and that’s what a lot of people do I’m so happy for Brenda I hope maybe one day in future when I go to New York I can meet her❤️❤️🙏🏿

  7. LIPSTICK AND A CELL PHONE???

I ended up STRANDED one time and (while offering to "work" for it) went to an agency that was DESIGNED to help "stranded" people – to get HOME…

They almost refused to help me, BECAUSE I HAD A CELL PHONE – which I only had, because (as a working individual, who would rather NOT ask for help but was in genuine NEED), I had WORKED FOR IT…

  8. We all need to realize that the only true wealth any of us have is each other. We should carry each other and build each other up. Lets stop focusing on what we are told we need to buy and obtain to be considered valuable. Value relationships. Stop and look around at what our beautiful creator has given us in the way of this planet, its inhabitants, and the space and time they exist in. Be kind. LOVE is the answer. If you see someone homeless. Reach out. BERNIE 2020

  9. The leading cause of homelessness is affordable housing…that is the biggest load of liberal bullshit! The leading cause of homelessness is drug addiction/mental health problems.

  10. Thank You for doing this update I wanted to help her before but I too have no income and I had no way I happen to have a little money right now ..very little but it is enough to help another human being and Brendas faith in God (whom has gotten me through no job for 5 years and kept a roof over my head ) touches my heart!! God is Great Brenda I am sooo happy for you

  11. Bravo. Brenda, you did it. I'm so happy to hear her progress…such good news before I go to sleep. I wish all the best luck for you, Brenda.😇

  12. Oh this is wonderful, i saw her video a while ago and my heart went out to her. I'm so glad she's doing better. She has my prayers 🙏

  13. Someone should let de blasio know what’s going on with these cops in penn station. I’m sure he wouldn’t be happy to hear what’s going on in our city

  14. It's great that she was able to obtain housing! I have been homeless several times over the years. I have severe recurrent depression, anxiety, and ptsd from various life occurrence's. I have been turned down for disability, I used to be a nurse..it feels like a constant fight. We are a rich nation, it makes me sad that we care so little about others.

  15. Oh Brenda! I'm SO proud of you for getting yourself out of homelessness! I look forward to reading your book because I think that you have a perspective on things that we could all benefit from! I wish you all the best and I hope that good things come to you in the future! Take care!

  16. I was very blessed when I was homeless because I had a car to live in. I always made sure I was very clean, my hair and makeup was always done and my clothes were clean and pressed. I had a job but I simply could not afford rent in a very expensive state. Nobody knew I was living in my car, so nobody judged me. It wasn't until I snotty woman at my work found out and proceeded to tell everyone about it. Suddenly, I was treated much differently. From there on out, I never worry what people think of me, because a person can turn on you in a heartbeat. I just do what I need to do to make my life as happy as I can.

  17. I am so very happy and thrilled you finally got a place to live Brenda. I used to be homeless in Phoenix Az. So I know how you felt. When my family finally got a place We were so happy. Blessed by Jesus we got a place.

  18. God Bless us all , blessings He Will Bring, Prayers for all 🙏 in Jesus Name 🙌

  20. This is so great, love yeah Brenda::))
Oh search your brothers and sisters in christ …
    Greetings from Amsterdam

  21. Immigration has taken low income housing away from low income Americans. Immigration has also reduced income for low income and working class Americans as well. Immigration equals high housing costs plus reduced income for the working class. We've been tricked. Diversity doesn't make us stronger. Send the immigrants back and return the housing, schools and jobs to the people who made America possible.
Glad you finally got housing. Sorry it wasn't in San Diego, but San Diego is full up with Mexicans pretending to be Americans.

  22. Hang in there Brenda you're doing great. One thing about being homeless or becoming homeless it doesn't care about your culture, job, fancy car, or financial status or your zip code meaning it can happen to any of us.

  23. a lot of people are simply assholes. instead of giving help to someone, they put people down. So glad this lady is doing much better.

  24. Lord Jesus look after brenda and see that she gets all the things she needs to have a happy life and keep her bills paid in jesus name i pray amen 🙏

  25. That was me, just sent her 10 bucks, why not, she will put it to good use. Maybe she can buy a tv, or something nice for herself

  26. Love love the lipstick. I am wearing lipstick for you. And for all the homeless women. So happy you are in a home now.

  27. I just don’t get it I donate a ton of things to goodwill where are they to GIVE people the things they need to set up housekeeping? It’s so disgusting that goodwill are so greedy! they also will be judged by God🙋‍♀️.
