  1. Run till they break load on more the flag they fly you can't sue. They're not American they don't care third world cruise lines. Its what you sign up for.

  2. Many years ago, this happened to a ship I was on in the Caribbean. I was in my cabin (no window) when the lights went out. Very scary. (hint: always travel with a flashlight). The ship drifted a couple of hours before power was restored. No idea what caused it.

  3. Probably the crew shut down the engines for minor repairs.
Cannot criticize, maybe they averted a bigger problem that was
    about to happen

  4. We were on this cruise. It was down for about an hour and a half. My wife and I and our friends were in our rooms when it happened. Nothing major from what they announced. Supposedly it started with the elevators not working and then went onto the AC and other things. We just sat on our balcony and looked out over the Gulf. Many complained about it, but all was good in the end.

  5. I was on this cruise and it really didn't affect our trip that much. They extended our port time and we liked it better. We saw the sun set in both port. Cozumel and Progresso. I made a video about the trip at the ports. Check it out. Carnival made sure that we didn't miss any excursions.

  6. Wow the this carnival valor is like the carnival splendor and triumph because they both lost power due to an engine room fire
