AM Forecast UPDATE 10-28-19

JAMIE::IT IS A COOL MORNING IN THE MIAMI VALLEY WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING THROUGH THE LOWER 40S. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY ON TAP AFTER A 50-50 WEEKEND. SATURDAY WAS QUITE MISERABLE BUT YESTERDAY THE SUN CAME OUT. TODAY WE WILL CONTINUE WITH THAT SUNSHINE AND TEMPERATURES WILL BE JUST ABOVE NORMAL CLIMBING BACK INTO THE UPPER 60S. WINDS WILL BE VERY LIGHT AS WELL. WE HAD NOTHING BUT RAIN ON SATURDAY. IT WAS A GOOD SOAKING RAIN THOUGH AND MUCH NEEDED TO HELP OUR DROUGHT SITUATION. WE WILL GET AN OFFICIAL UPDATE TO OUR DROUGHT MONITOR FORECAST DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THIS WEEK. BUT SOME OF THE TOTALS WERE AT OR EVEN OVER 1 INCH. OUR MONTHLY DEFICIT IS NOW JUST OVER THREE TENTHS OF AN INCH. THE SEASONAL DEFICIT IS STILL ALMOST THREE-INCHES BELOW NORMAL. TEMPERATURES STRUGGLED THAT DAY AS WE REMAINED IN THE UPPER 50S FOR MOST OF THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SUNDAY GOT BETTER WITH THE RETURN OF SUNSHINE AND IT DIDN’T FEEL TOO BAD OUT THERE. READINGS CLIMBED BACK INTO THE MID 60S. TODAY LOOKS A LOT LIKE SUNDAY WITH SUNSHINE AND 60S IN THE FORECAST. WE DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GUSTY WINDS EITHER. WINDS HAVE REALLY LIGHTENED UP ALL ACROSS THE REGION AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY’RE GOING TO STAY LIGHT AS WE HEAD RIGHT THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. HIGH PRESSURE IS BUILDING RIGHT ACROSS THE REGION TODAY AND THAT WILL KEEP THINGS NICE AND QUIET. YOU CAN SEE CLEAR SKY ON OUR SATELLITE RADAR LOOP NOT TOO MANY CLOUDS WILL BE AROUND TODAY. AS THIS HIGH SHIFTS OFF TO OUR EAST ON TUESDAY WE WILL START TO SEE A SOUTHERLY FLOW DEVELOP AND SOME WARMER AIR WILL PUSH IN. SO TEMPERATURES WILL BE PROBABLY THE WARMEST OF THE WEEK TOMORROW AFTERNOON. THEN AN APPROACHING SYSTEM WILL BRING IN RAIN CHANCES FOR WEDNESDAY AND UNFORTUNATELY FOR HALLOWEEN. RIGHT NOW TRICK-OR-TREATING IS LOOKING LIKE IT COULD BE FAIRLY WET, BREEZY AND CHILLY. SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PLAN IN PLACE TO STAY FAIRLY DRY BUT STILL SHOW OFF YOUR COSTUMES. HERE’S A CHECK OF FUTURE TRACK WHICH STARTS OFF WITH DRY CONDITIONS AND CLEAR SKY. WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY AT LUNCHTIME AND FOR THE DRIVE HOME AT 5 O’CLOCK IT ALSO LOOKS MOSTLY SUNNY AND QUIET. OVERNIGHT WILL STICK WITH PARTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING BACK DOWN INTO THE UPPER 40S. FOR TUESDAY WE WILL START OFF PARTLY SUNNY, BUT CLOUDS WILL TEND TO THICKEN AS WE HEAD THROUGH HE AFTERNOON. AND WITH THAT SOUTHERLY FLOW DEVELOPING WE WILL GET A LITTLE BIT WARMER. HERE’S YOUR FORECAST FOR TODAY NOT BAD AT ALL! LOTS OF SUNSHINE AND HIGHS CLIMB INTO THE UPPER 60S. WINDS WILL BE VERY LIGHT. OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BACK INTO THE 40S. AND FOR TUESDAY CONTINUED DRY WEATHER, PARTLY SUNNY AND LIGHTER WIND. HIGHS WARMING INTO THE UPPER 60S AGAIN. HERE’S YOUR STORM TEAM TWO SEVEN DAY FORECAST WE HAVE NICE CONDITIONS TO START THE WEEK AND THINGS GO DOWNHILL AFTER TUESDAY. RAIN CHANCES GO UP FOR WEDNESDAY, ESPECIALLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. AND UNFORTUNATELY ON HALLOWEEN RAIN IS LOOKING VERY LIKELY. TEMPERATURES WON’T BE TOO COLD BUT IT WILL BE A CHILLY AND POSSIBLY DAMP TRICK OR TREAT. WE DEFINITELY TURN COLDER AS WE HEAD INTO FRIDAY AND THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. THAT’S WHEN HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE 40S FOR A FEW DAYS, AND OUR OVERNIGHT LOWS GET CLOSER TO, IF NOT BELOW, FREEZING. JAMIE: JAMIE:HERE’S KELLEY KINGKELLEY KINGMAP: ODOT 75 IN DAYTON___
